-22.7°C transports us to the heart of the Arctic Circle, inspired by the expedition of French electronic musician Molécule. We are immersed in a creative journey in extreme conditions and the discovery of the Arctic: a territory inhabited by profound sounds and almost mystical vibrations. A sensory experience where the cold becomes matter, rhythm, and vertigo.
The creaking of glaciers, the breath of the sea ice, the silence of the polar night… In 2017, electronic music producer Molécule isolated himself for five weeks in Tiniteqilaaq, a remote village in Greenland. There, he captured the raw sounds of the Arctic to compose his album –22.7°C . From this expedition emerged a project that opens a door to another world: a sensory and introspective journey into the heart of the polar region.
The beauty and harshness of the Arctic landscapes intertwine with Molécule's inner worlds as he embarks on a true journey of self-discovery. These "inner worlds," imagined by Dirty Monitor, give life to powerful and captivating visual universes. Driven by Molécule's soundtrack, the entire work merges with remarkable fluidity, revealing an unprecedented glimpse into the heart of the musical creation process.
