Trial Poster

The fear we feel when imagining the infinity of the universe comes from the sense of confronting the finiteness and fragility of our own existence.

Trial invites us to reflect on what we can hold onto and what attitude we can adopt when the laws and morals established by history and inner conviction collapse. This project is a real-time audiovisual performance using an immersive video and sound system. Light and sound, continuously appearing and disappearing over time, create a space on another level and bring us face to face with a new environment.

CLAUDE

CLAUDE is a multimedia artist based in Seoul. Through kinetic elements and real-time data environments, he presents abstract movements of digital particles by monitoring the organic changes of the human body and of nature, drawing out their mysterious vitality. He focuses on conveying the essential beauty of nature by capturing the deep emotions we feel when confronted with the wild, as represented in the arts.

Shin Hyejin

Shin Hyejin is a sound artist based in Seoul, South Korea. She creates minimalist and distinctive soundscapes using meticulous, perceptive micro-sounds, digital noise, and low-frequency drones.

She has performed as a live artist on Seoul-based media and sound art platforms such as WATMM and MUTEK Montréal. In addition to performances, she also engages in various other activities, including collaborations and exhibitions.
