A RICH IMMERSIVE PROGRAM IN THE HUBBLO DOME AT THE GRAND THÉÂTRE DE QUÉBEC!

⎯⎯⎯ EVENT OVER ⎯⎯⎯
Following last year’s phenomenal success with over 700 screenings of Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon in the Hubblo Dome at the Grand Théâtre de Québec, a second vibrant edition of immersive audiovisual experiences will launch on June 12. This new program, made possible through the collaboration between Hubblo and the Grand Théâtre de Québec, features 360-degree creations exploring a wide range of themes that will captivate audiences of all ages and spark the imagination!
Erected in the courtyard of the Grand Théâtre, the Dome is a striking temporary structure that reinvents the art of projection. Beneath its spherical ceiling, audiences are immersed in works specifically designed for 360-degree viewing, enhanced by rich and enveloping soundscapes. Five cutting-edge experiences will be presented in the Dome during the first segment of the program, running from June 12 to 30, with more productions and additional showings to follow!
Music in the Spotlight

Building on its wildly successful run last summer, the audiovisual experience Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon—produced by NSC Creative to mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary British band’s iconic album—returns to Le Dôme. This is the ultimate way to experience the project, where the spacey, hallucinogenic visuals blend perfectly with Pink Floyd’s psychedelic rock soundscape.
Have a Safe Trip, for its part, is an immersive experience that takes audiences on a visual and sonic road trip inspired by the psychedelic culture of the 1960s and 70s. Created by the band Muze Jazz Orchestra and video artist Jaak De Digitale, the project straddles the line between dream and nightmare, unfolding in an imaginary world reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. This cinematic journey evokes the spirit of artists like Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Weather Report, Miles Davis, and Jerry Goldsmith.

A feature film driven by an original score from Karkwa
The 360-degree cinematic experience Temporel, starring David La Haye, explores the story of an astronaut afflicted with an incurable illness who seeks refuge in a slower space-time continuum in the hope of seeing his now-grown daughter again. Throughout Temporel, Karkwa’s original score—composed specifically for the film—underscores the narrative arc. Recipient of a Special Jury Mention at the Fulldome UK Festival 2024, the Audience Award at Dome Fest West 2025, and a nominee for the Best of Earth 2025 awards, this film by Jean-François Éthier and Dominic St-Amant offers audiences a deeply emotional journey.
When Space Reality Surpasses Fiction
The largest production ever filmed in space, Space Explorers: The ISS Experience, is an epic four-part immersive series. Episode 1: Adapt and Episode 2: Advance will be presented individually in Le Dôme. Viewers will accompany eight astronauts on their life-changing missions aboard the International Space Station. Filmed entirely in space over a two-year period with exclusive access to the crew, The ISS Experience offers an intimate perspective on the joy, wonder, and risks of life in orbit.

Co-presented by Hubblo and the Grand Théâtre de Québec, the immersive film program in the Dome will run from Thursday to Sunday, with three to five screenings per day.
