Philippe Baylaucq
Director
Philippe Baylaucq, a fine arts graduate from St Martin’s School of Art in London, has distinguished himself for over 40 years in film, video, and museology. A multiple award winner, he explores the dialogue between cinema and other artistic disciplines such as architecture, painting, and dance. Versatile, he has created a wide range of works, from a musical tale (Hugo et le dragon) to documentaries (Le magicien de Kaboul), as well as immersive films for the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium (Tempo, Kyma, Mondes de glace). His work combines technological innovation with formal research. Recipient of the Prix Lumière in 2001, he has also served as president of the ARRQ and the RIDM and was vice-president of the Conseil des arts de Montréal.

Sébastien Gauthier
Director
Sébastien Gauthier is an expert in planetariums and audiovisual design, combining over 25 years of experience in immersive museology, science communication, and fulldome film production. He has contributed to the design of several major planetariums and museums, including the Palais de la Découverte in Paris and TELUS Spark in Calgary. A former programming director of the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium, he has also directed and produced nearly 20 award-winning immersive films, such as One Sky and Aurōrae. Recognized for his innovative approach, he uses technology to enhance emotion and science communication.

DJ Champion
Composer, Musician
DJ Champion, born Maxime Morin, is a Quebec musician, composer, and producer known for his unique blend of electro, rock, and house. A former guitarist and sound engineer, he gained recognition in 2005 with Chill ’Em All, an album propelled by the hit No Heaven. His distinctive style, combining electronic beats with live instruments, has earned him a prominent place in the music scene. Despite battling cancer in 2010, he made a strong comeback and continues to innovate, solidifying his status as a key figure in Canada’s electronic music landscape.
