Junkerry’s Together Apart is an immersive experience, composed in advanced spatial audio technology and designed for planetariums and giant screens. The multi-sensory journey uses music, songs, spoken voices, and 360 visuals to deliver positive messages and transport audiences to another reality.
This project began in 2020 with interviews from diverse voices, exploring themes of belonging, loneliness, inclusion, and togetherness. Junkerry then composed a 50-minute score, recorded with musicians from eight countries, and collaborated with a female-led team of visual artists. The result is a blend of ambient, soulful pop, classical Indian, jazz, and afrobeat that envelops you from every angle. “Together Apart” aims to foster unity and peace, offering a meaningful shared experience in a world where culture is often consumed alone.

Junkerry Studio
Experimental experimental studio, crafting emotive world’s. Our work is multidisciplinary with sound at its core, working natively with immersive audio as a natural way to encounter the world. We compose, record and produce everything in house at our immersive studio – collaborating with progressive institutions and creative labs to deliver intriguing narratives. Inherently organic and seamlessly integrated with digital crafts, the studio challenges perceptions, providing a distinct sound identity to create transformative moments. In an era where distractions are many, we take a beat to feel how sound can resonate in us.
