Maxime Pivin Lapointe
Director and Writer
Since the age of 18, Maxime Pivin Lapointe has dedicated his career to science education and communication. Holding a bachelor’s degree in secondary science education with a minor in physics, he spent a few years teaching before turning to his true passion: sharing his fascination with the Universe at the college level. He devoted over ten years to observing and presenting the night sky in the Mégantic region before traveling across Quebec to give lectures in high schools and CEGEPs. Since 2013, he has brought his expertise in science communication and visual design to the Rio Tinto Planetarium team, where he creates immersive experiences that combine scientific accuracy with visual storytelling. A Day on Mars is part of this ambitious and thoughtful approach to science outreach.
