Users walk through a dreamlike garden where everything seems extinguished and gradually bring the musicians of Les Violons du Roy to life around them. As Summer from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons plays, the garden slowly comes back to life.

Director
Michel D.T. Lam studied filmmaking at the Université du Québec à Montréal and the Institut national de l’image et du son (INIS). He first gained recognition with two award-winning films, Plus ou moins trente and Sur le quai de la gare, as well as the critically acclaimed documentary …et la musique, produced by the NFB. A writer, director, and producer working across documentary, television, and new media, he collaborates with production companies and broadcasters around the world. His notable projects include Harmonielehre, an innovative collaboration between the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and the Société des arts numériques; Innere Musik, a virtual reality experience set inside the organ of Montreal’s Maison symphonique (NUMIX 2020 – Best Immersive Experience); and Partita for 8 Voices, an immersive audiovisual odyssey that received the Best Immersive Experience award at the Macon International Festival and a Best of Earth Award in the Art and Experiment category.
